Stefan trained at an insurance company before attending law school and passing the exams to become a fully accredited lawyer in 1998. While subsequently serving as the in-house legal counsel to a German ship owner, he discovered his true passion: purchasing and optimising insurance contracts and handling marine claims. He worked for several marine insurance brokers before going into business for himself.
Since founding ELBDOLPHINS in 2017, Stefan has continued applying his deep experience and familiarity with this industry to benefit clients.
